Logo Development
The client’s briefemphasized incorporating Yorkshire heritage into a logo that was simple, strong, and highly readable. Drawing inspiration from the iconic Yorkshirerose, I created a series of variations exploring shape and colour. Using anumbered system, I presented the options clearly for review, which allowed theclient to confidently select a final design that reflected both his identityand his business values.
Final Thoughts
This project differed from Date Detour and Purpose Unknown, as the client had a clearer vision from the start. I developed an efficient workflow for presenting design options, which made our collaboration more streamlined and productive. The experience helped me strengthen my process when working within defined parameters while still maintaining creativity.
“Just like to say thank you to Jerome Kam. We’ve been back and forth working on a design for the logo for what will be CSD Carpentry. I’m well chuffed with the results and what we’ve decided to go with. Great work, Jerome.”
