Inktober 2024
For Inktober 2024 I not only wanted to incoporate the dailey prompts but also include my own theme of charcters from film, tv and video games. I also wanted to focus more on the media of ink as well as watercolour and colour pencils to add a layer of depth and colour.
Inktober 2020
For Inktober 2020 I wanted to also  incoporate my own theme of charcters from the movies as well as the standard prompts. That way I had a running theme that connected all 31 days. I also wanted to develop both my skills drawing traditionaly and digitally, so I alternated between each media every 6 days.
Inktober 2019
For Inktober 2019 I wanted to incoporate a running theme of my own as well as the standard prompts. That theme was charcters from the world of video games. I hand drew or the illustraitions before colouring them digitally not only to add a punch of colour but to also develop my skils digitally.
Final Thoughts

Inktober is always a challenge. Creating 31 pieces in a month is demanding, and I often find myself struggling with ideas for daily prompts and maintaining consistency.
I don’t always finish within October but I like the challenge of completing it. Each attempt pushes my drawing and painting skills forward, with some pieces turning out better than others but the real value lies in the progression and discipline the challenge builds.
Will I do it again? Most likely but next time I’d like to refine the theme and focus on a more traditional, ink led approach.
